2010 Goodwill Tournament
May 19th, 2010
Congratulations all competitors at the 2010 Goodwill Tournament Sunday, May 16, 2010!
The Goodwill Tournament is an inside-dojo competitive challenge for ALL students to gain tournament experience, foster camaraderie and give back to the community. KKNY, KKNY-NJ and Manhattan Beach, CA students attended and supported this event for charity. We generated over $500 for the Robin Hood Foundation here in NYC, which supports local organizations dedicated to eradicating poverty.
Thanks to all the Brown and Black belts who volunteered to make this event run smoothly and effortlessly, and to all the families and friends of KKNY students for their contributions and support of everyone’s hard work.
Another local Goodwill Tournament is planned for the Fall, but before that, the 2010 All American Open will be staged by the IKO Kyokushinkaikan and KKNY here in NYC, on SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 18, 2010 at the Hunter College Sportsplex.
